This week we received a new Kevin Enoch Tradesman banjo..this one is fretted and scooped! Also in stock is a new Boucher style gourd banjo that is a REAL player made by yours truly! You can see both of these banjos in the 'New" section. Check out the String Swing instrument hangers, available in several models.

This week proved to be quite exciting at MSi! The new line of Gold Tone "Old Tone" banjos have arrived and we are very impressed with them. These are really great old-time banjos! You can see them in the "New" banjo section.

Also we have a 2006 Greg Galbreath 12" highly figured open back banjo in stock in the "Used & Vintage" banjo section.

I will be teaching a week long gourd banjo making class at the Ozark Folk Center in Mountain View, Arkansas from March 15th-20th. The workshop begins on Sunday, March 15th 2009 and will run to Friday, March 20th. This is an intensive class that will result in the completion of a highly functional and refined gourd banjo. In addition to the class there will be lots of music around to be played and enjoyed.
