2009 Charles Horner Western Cedar & American Walnut Violin

$0.00
SKU: hornerviolin

Charles Horner is from Rockwood Tennessee and is a fine maker of violins and mandolins.  Many professional musicians favor Horner's instruments.  This is the only walnut fiddle that Charles has ever made.  The top is made of aged tight grain western cedar.  Black American figured walnut was used for the back, sides and neck.  The body is a Stradivarius shape.  All of the fittings are hand made: pegs - blood wood, tail piece - Martin factory Brazilian rosewood, end pin - rosewood, bridge - aged maple.  This is a playable work of art.
